Therapy Fees & Packages 

At Pro Comfort Counselling, we believe that access to therapy should be clear and transparent. Below you will find an overview of the available fees and session options.

Sessions are offered in both Romanian and English, with the possibility of meeting face-to-face (in East London) or online, from anywhere in the world.


Free 15-Minute Introductory Call

This call offers the opportunity for a brief preliminary discussion, aimed at obtaining an initial orientation regarding the difficulties presented and how the therapeutic process may begin.

Its purpose is not to provide therapy, but to establish first contact and clarify the next steps.

First Full Consultation

The first consultation is an extended therapeutic meeting, primarily dedicated to the client's presentation of the situation and to understanding the general context of the difficulties.

This stage allows the development of an overall picture of the case, the formulation of preliminary observations, and the beginning of the therapeutic relationship.

At this point, no definitive conclusions or final objectives are established; instead, the foundation is created for further assessments and directions.

To ensure a supportive start, depending on the complexity of the situation, the duration may be extended up to 90 minutes at no additional cost.

The initial stage of the therapeutic process

Considering the complexity of assessment and the need for continuity in the work, psychological therapy begins with an initial set of four sessions, usually held on a weekly basis.

This stage allows for an appropriate understanding of the situation presented, the formulation of preliminary clinical observations, and the creation of the foundation necessary for subsequent therapeutic directions.

Completing this initial period provides stability to the process and significantly increases the accuracy of the interventions that follow.


Individual therapy session

  • 60-minute session price - £100

    Meetings are adapted to each person's pace and aim to clarify the mechanisms involved, while supporting the development of more functional ways of relating to life situations.

    Available face-to-face or online.

    The individual format provides the necessary space for exploring emotional experiences, patterns of thinking, and behavioural reactions that contribute to maintaining the difficulties.

    Extended session (90 minutes): price - £150

    Recommended in situations that require additional time for exploration, during more complex assessment periods, or at moments when the therapeutic process benefits from greater depth.

Couples therapy session

  • 60-minute session price - £130

    The process supports the restoration of functional dialogue, clarification of responsibilities, and the development of more stable forms of cooperation.

    Available face-to-face or online.

    Couples therapy aims to understand relational patterns, the ways partners communicate, and the mechanisms that create distance or tension.

    Extended session (90 minutes): price - £195

    Recommended when the complexity of the situations discussed requires additional time for analysis, emotional regulation, and work on the interactions between partners.

Family therapy session

  • 60-minute session price - £150

    The aim is to improve cooperation, reduce tensions, and build a framework for mutual support.

    Family intervention focuses on the relationships between members, the roles adopted, and the way interactions influence the balance of the entire system.

    Extended session (90 minutes): price - £225

    Useful in situations involving multiple members or when relational dynamics require additional time for clarification and intervention.


Requests regarding fees or availability are usually answered within a maximum of 24 hours.

📌 Additional Information

Booking and payment policy

To ensure clarity and fairness for all clients, please note the following conditions:

Session bookings must be made at least 48 hours in advance.

A 50% deposit is required, payable by bank transfer at least 48 hours before the session.

The remaining 50% is paid at the end of the session (cash or bank transfer).

Cancellations and rescheduling

Any change to an appointment must be requested at least 24 hours in advance.

If you cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hours' notice, or if you do not attend the session (no-show), the 50% deposit is non-refundable.

If the rescheduling request is made at least 24 hours in advance, the deposit will be transferred to the new appointment without additional fees.


📌 Discount Policy

Discounts are available based on the client's socio-economic status:

  • 50% Discount – available for individuals who:

    • are unemployed and without regular monthly income;

    • have recently lost their job (within the last 3 months);

    • are in professional transition (e.g. redundancy, career change);

    • must provide supporting documentation (e.g. unemployment letter, certificate).

  • 40% Discount – available for individuals receiving government benefits:

    • official documentation must be provided (e.g. DWP letter, benefit confirmation);

    • applies only to individual sessions.

  • 30% Discount – available for students:

    • valid proof required (e.g. student card, university certificate);

    • applies to both individual and group sessions (if offered).

📌 General Conditions

  • Discounts are granted only upon the client's request, either in writing or discussed during the first session.

  • Pro Comfort Counselling will issue a formal confirmation of the discount in the form of an additional consent note.

  • The number of discounted sessions may be limited depending on monthly capacity.

  • Discounts are not cumulative (only one discount can be applied per client).

  • Any granted reduction is valid for a period or number of sessions established at the time of confirmation. Continuation after expiry may require a new review.

📌 Accessibility and Ethics

This policy reflects our commitment to making therapy accessible without compromising the quality of care. We encourage clients to communicate openly about financial difficulties so that we can explore suitable solutions together.

📌 Updates and Revisions

This policy may be updated periodically to reflect legislative, economic, or operational changes. Any modification applies only to future bookings and does not affect agreements that have already been confirmed.


🏠 Face-to-Face Therapy

Face-to-face therapy sessions provide a calm and confidential environment designed to support safety, clarity, and the therapeutic process.
They take place at the private counselling office in Dagenham (East London) and are adapted to the needs and particularities of your situation.

Each session lasts 60 minutes and includes:

  • a welcoming and confidential setting;

  • a structured discussion of the difficulties presented and possible working directions;

  • clarification, support, and interventions tailored to the situation.

📌 The office offers:

  • a quiet and comfortable therapy room;

  • free private parking;

  • flexible appointments, including evenings and weekends.

The face-to-face format is suitable for individuals who prefer direct interaction, a structured environment, and fewer distractions.


💻 Online Therapy

Online therapy sessions offer a flexible and accessible way to receive psychological support directly from the comfort of your own home.
They take place via secure video platforms such as Psychology Today Sessions, Zoom, Google Meet, or WhatsApp Video, and are designed to provide the same safe and confidential framework as face-to-face meetings.

Each session lasts 60 minutes and includes:

  • a structured and calm discussion about your concerns and objectives;

  • personalised guidance, support, and therapeutic strategies;

  • time for reflection and for asking questions in a relaxed setting.

📌 To attend the session, you will need:

  • a quiet and private space;

  • a stable internet connection;

  • a phone, tablet, or computer with a camera and microphone.

Online therapy is an effective alternative in situations where travelling is difficult or when logistical limitations are present.
