About Pro Comfort Counselling

Pro Comfort Counselling is the professional framework founded by Marian Claudiu Ciuhan, MBPsS, through which counselling and psychotherapy services are offered for individuals, couples, and families.
The initiative emerged from direct contact with the reality of communities living between two cultural contexts and who need psychological support adapted to their language, life experience, and personal context.
The practice has been developed progressively, with emphasis on coherence, stability, and professional responsibility.
The services provided are non-medical in nature and do not include clinical diagnosis or medical intervention.
Structure and Coordination
At present, the activity is coordinated and delivered exclusively by the founder.
This model allows continuity in intervention, clarity in the assumption of responsibilities, and the maintenance of a consistent professional standard.
Vision and Development
Pro Comfort Counselling aims to develop into a broader professional framework, which may include:
> interdisciplinary collaboration (psychotherapy, clinical assessment, education)
> group programmes for personal and relational development
> assessment and intervention services for organisations
> the development of educational programmes and psychological resources accessible to the wider public
The long-term objective is to consolidate a stable professional brand capable of offering structured interventions both at an individual and at a systemic level.
Psychological Assessment and Licensed Instruments
In current practice, when the situation requires it, the working process may be supported by structured psychological assessments carried out through licensed psychometric instruments.
These instruments allow a quantifiable analysis of certain dimensions of personality and psychological functioning, offering a perspective complementary to the therapeutic process.
In Pro Comfort Counselling, scientifically validated psychometric batteries are currently used, including personality assessment models based on the theoretical framework of Big Five, as well as instruments for structured personality assessment.
Professional Commitment
The activity is grounded in scientifically validated practice, continuous professional training, and respect for the ethical standards of the profession.
Pro Comfort Counselling aims to provide a therapeutic framework that is predictable, clear, and adapted to the complexity of each situation.
Professional Collaborations
In certain situations, the counselling process may benefit from collaboration with other professionals from the health field or related areas. Where the context requires it, and with the client's agreement, Pro Comfort Counselling may collaborate with:
> general practitioners (GPs)
> psychiatrists
> psychologists specialised in other areas
> educational institutions
> organisations or human resources departments
These collaborations are intended to support an interdisciplinary approach when the client's situation requires it.
