1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of the Pro Comfort Counselling website and all services offered by Pro Comfort Counselling — Marian Claudiu Ciuhan, MBPsS, including face-to-face and online psychological counselling services.
By accessing this website or booking services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.
2. Professional Status & Scope of Service
Pro Comfort Counselling provides psychological counselling services, not medical or psychiatric treatment.
The service is provided by Marian Claudiu Ciuhan, MBPsS, trained in psychological practice and registered as a Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society (BPS).
This service does not include:

medical diagnosis or treatment

psychiatric assessment or prescription medication

crisis intervention or emergency care
3. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:

provide accurate information during assessment

attend scheduled appointments on time
-
refrain from abusive, threatening, or discriminatory behaviour

use online sessions in a private, safe location with stable internet connection
4. Appointment Booking & Fees
Sessions are offered by appointment only.
Fees are displayed on the website and may be updated periodically.
A deposit may be required to secure appointments.
Full payment is due by/before the end of each session.
5. Cancellation Policy
Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours notice may be subject to full session fee.
Repeated cancellations may result in termination of services.
6. Confidentiality & Data Protection
All personal information and session content are confidential and protected under UK law and GDPR.
Exceptions apply where there is:

risk of harm to yourself or others

safeguarding concerns involving a child or vulnerable adult

legal obligation to disclose information

7. Emergency & Crisis Support
This service is not suitable for emergencies.

8. Minors
For clients under 18, parental/guardian consent is required.
Boundaries regarding parents' access to session information will be discussed at intake.

You are responsible for ensuring:

no unauthorized recording of sessions
10. Termination of Services
The therapist reserves the right to discontinue services if:

professional boundaries are violated

payment obligations are not met

therapeutic progress is not possible or appropriate

12. Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales.
Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of English courts.
