About Pro Comfort Counselling

Who We Are
Pro Comfort Counselling was founded by Marian Claudiu Ciuhan, a psychologist and member of the British Psychological Society (MBPsS), with professional training in Family and Couple Psychotherapy and Clinical Practice Evaluation.
We provide professional counselling and psychotherapy in East London and online across the UK, supporting individuals, couples, and families in addressing difficulties such as anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, self-esteem issues, and relationship challenges.
As a Romanian-speaking psychologist, Marian also offers culturally sensitive support for the Romanian community, ensuring that language or cultural differences do not become barriers to psychological wellbeing.

Our Story
Pro Comfort Counselling began with a simple conviction: change becomes possible when people feel listened to, understood, and supported.
From the very first session, our aim has been to create a safe and empathetic environment, where difficulties can be explored without judgement and where personal and relational development can be achieved. Over time, we have supported individuals experiencing emotional distress, couples rebuilding trust, and families navigating difficult transitions.
Although rooted in the London community, our work extends beyond it. We collaborate with clients across the UK and internationally, offering sessions both in person and online, in English and Romanian, to ensure broad and inclusive access to psychological support.

At Pro Comfort Counselling, our philosophy is based on the conviction that the therapeutic process begins with empathy and develops through collaboration, respect, and evidence-based practice. Every story is unique, and every person deserves to be met with professionalism and understanding.

We integrate scientifically validated therapeutic approaches – such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and systemic family interventions – to provide rigorous and effective support.

No two people are alike. Each session is adapted to the client's needs, goals, and pace, with the aim of supporting resilience, self-awareness, and inner balance.
Cultural Sensitivity
Although based in London, we work with clients from different regions of the UK and abroad. We provide sessions in both Romanian and English, ensuring that cultural or language differences do not become obstacles to psychological support.
